Music playing through speakers AND headphones

I just brought a Huawei G# yesterday and Spotify keeps playing through both the speakers and the headphones. Yes the headphones are properly in, yes lossless BT mode is off. I tried BesAudEnh both on and off. Can somebody help me please?

Does this ony happen with spotify or with other music players too?

Good suggestion, just tested and I have the same problem with Youtube

If you're using wired phones, it's worth trying a different pair in case the wiring or plug is faulty. Otherwise I suggest contacting the store where you bought the phone.

A simple answer, and you were right. Tried another spare pair of headphones, and they worked well. The phone recognised I put in headphones this time. *sigh* Guess I need to buy some new earphones
