My Local Files get grayed out after a few days. How do I stop this from happening??

I've seen this topic brought up before, but quite frankly it's infuriating that it keeps happening.

My local music gets grayed out after time passes.  The only way to fix this issue is to reinstall Spotify and redownload everything from my PC.  I get that.  I understand that.

What I don't understand is how I PREVENT this from happening?  I don't want to have to redownload and reinstall this good forsaken app EVERY THREE DAYS.  I want my music to play when I download it to my device.  How do I PREVENT, not fix after it's happened, PREVENT this graying out issue.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8.
