My Music doesnt sync!

Solved!

My Music doesnt sync!

My Music doesnt sync to my phone anymore so I have to be connected to the Internet to listen to all the songs I've been saving recently. It saves all my followed playlists that updates daily, but not my music. I cleared up room but I still has 2GB left. Help me!

Hi there @RetroLollies

Try to follow the steps below:

First thing to do before trying anything else is; reboot your phone then check if the issue re-occurs. If so, try logging out of the Spotify app and re-logging in to refresh your account on the device. If after these 2 steps you are still having issues please read through the rest of the guide:

Clean install & getting the cache onto SD Card

This is the core step in any troubleshooting and can help resolve issues such as:

  • Black screen on startup
  • Offline data not storing on SD card
  • Random crashes or FC's
  • Track degradation or skipping
  • Playlists and tracks no longer available

NOTE: You will lose all preferences & offline playlists in doing this!

1. Uninstall the app from your device by going to 'Settings' -> 'Apps' then scroll to the Spotify app and tap on it. Once loaded press 'Uninstall'.
2. Using a file manager make sure any of the below folders are deleted if they still exist:

3. Reboot your device

4. Using a web browser navigate to the 'Offline Devices' section of the Spotify account page and then click on the 'Remove all devices' button.

5. Once all the above steps are complete go to the play store and install the Spotify Music app again (Google Play Store link).
