Hi - is anyone else having problems with your mobile being in offline mode 'off' and it saying there is no internet connection when I know there is full wi-Fi available and I am definitely connected as I can browse the internet?
It's very frustrating as I have a couple of playlist I'd like to download to my mobile and play offline on my commute.
Thank for any help/advice! 🙂
I hav the same problem. I can use the internet on my phone and every other internet app, but not spotify.
this happpens to me every day, everything else can connect except Spotify, very annoying
This has also happened on my HTC Desire HD, I have deleted and installed Spotify again but still the error continues.
All the other applications that need web access work but Spotify just wont get the connection anymore.
I agree - or even a pull down to refresh (like Twitter/Facebook)
I got it working again by clearing the applications cache (on my Andriod). I had to sign in again (and all my downloads were still there) and it was working again. Bit of a pain.
That is a pain, I'll give that a go, one question though, how do you clear the cache on the android device? lol
I have the same problem.

Great idea. Tried it but it didn't work for me. Anyone have any other suggestions?
I just deleted the whole thing, installed again and while I went to do some bicycle-ride I tested.
Worked great and did not stop playing music at all.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I get "No Internet connection available". This happened after the previous update. Got new update today and the problem still exist. I have internet connection on the phone. I can use the browser, facebook app, twitter app, etc. Spotify has stopped working. This is very frustrating. This is one of the reasons I got the subscription so I can listen on my phone.
Uninstalling and reinstalling spotify worked for me.
Deleting Cache did not.
Best of luck!
Hello,
I have the same Problem. My Android (HTC desire) doesn't log in any more. Wifi and 3G ist Online. I get emails and can browse... BUT SPOTIFY always says "no internet connection"". That is noch true. I already cleared the chache, uninstalled, rebooted an reinstalled... nothing works.
There is definitly a failure in the Software.
Please solve this Problem as soon as possible.
Thanx
Stefan
I have also had this problem with an HTC desire s, even when connected to wi-fi, spotify said no internet connection, however, uninstalling and reinstalling worked for me!
I have the same problem. Bought a Samsung Galaxy SIII two days ago, and I'm unable to use Spotify. I got it to work once, when I was using the mobile network, but I cannot connect when I'm on wifi. It's a shame, because I have a datalimit I have to think about. Worked fine on WP7 and iOS, surprised that it doesn't work on Android!
I've tried deleting the cache, uninstall/reinstall, rebooting the phone between installing, logging in with facebook and spotify account, and still no result to brag about...
Spotify needs to fix this or they lose a long time customer.
I logged out and logged back in and it worked for me. All of my downloads were still there too. Clearing cache didnt work and I didnt want to reinstall because I didnt want to have to redownload 30+ GB of music.
I am in the same boat as you. But I have YET to see or hear ANYTHING from Spotify! Why am I paying for this if it will not correctly. I am seriously thinking about dropping Spotify's service if this does not clear up soon!
