Thanks for your quick reply! I downloaded the version mentioned in your thread below but when I execute the file I have the "there is a problem parsing the package"-error. Are you sure that the version 1.2.0.534 is compatible with my device or my android version 2.2?

That's definately the last version compatible with Gingerbread. A quick Google search will help you find another apk, it may be that the one I have has become corrupt.

Unfortunately the problem continues to exist although I restored the tablet to factory settings. There is just this very old 0.4 version that works.
