No storage option in Android 7.1.1 with encrypted external microSD

Hello.

I have an Xperia XZ with Android 7.1.1 and encrypted external 128GB A1 SanDisk microSD.

I don't have problems with others apps but can't see storage option in Spotify last version (although I allowed all permissions, I think the app would ask for storage permissions like other apps do).

I try to reset phone, restore factory defaults, reinstall app, etc.

I contacted with Sony support and they told me that is problem for individual apps that need to upgrade the method to gain access to external storage.

Please launch an upgrade to fix that soon or I will cancel my premium subscription and go to another better service.

Now in Android 8.0.0 and the same issue... I think the problem is that there is not collaboration  between Sony and Spotify, and the fact Spotify is an pre-installed app that can't be removed from Xperia XZ smartphone. Bad for Sony and Spotify.
