My Question or Issue

Every time I restart Spotify, the play queue resets to the same songs not to the songs that should come after the last song I played before I closed it. So the next time I open the app, the song I last played continues but the song afterwards is not the song that would have come after if I had not closed the app.

Hey @Ultimatum21614,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

If what you reported happens when using Spotify with your mobile data, would you mind double-checking that the "data-saver" mode is not enabled on your Google Pixel device? To do so:

  1. Open your phone's Settings

  2. Tap Network & internet > Data usage > Data saver

  3. Turn Data saver off

Hey @Ultimatum21614,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Would you mind trying a clean reinstall so as to delete any remaining traces of your current Spotify setup and then be able to install the app from scratch? If that doesn't do the trick, it'd be great to see a video of the issue so we can take a closer look.

Let us know how you get on. We're looking forward to your update and we're here to help with anything else too!
