My Question or Issue

My biggest use case is listening in a care where I don't have internet connection, like a year or two ago it worked flawlessly, but it kept getting worse and worse with every update.

I used to be able to just click on any artist or album on my Home screen and it would just work, but few week ago it stopped working. Sometimes it will just say "Something went wrong" or it will load the page with songs, all of which I have downloaded, but it will say "This song is not available"

As of now I can't even play most songs through Library menu, artists do not show at all for a while while offline, why is that an online only feature? It's ridiculous.

However if I go online, start playing song and go offline immediately, it will play, just the album covers will be blank, so they are definitely downloaded.

Choose music in car mode being an online only feature also boggles my mind.

Is there anything that I can do or that is planned to do about those issues? Right now I pretty much cannot use Spotify at all.

Hey @POM57,

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here!

Behavior like the one you're experiencing is usually caused by corrupted app files. We suggest you run a clean reinstall since this step can usually solve issues rendering Spotify to malfunction. You can find the necessary steps here. It's also a good idea to try the other troubleshooting instructions listed in this guide.

If that doesn't fix things, could you let us know if the issue comes up only when in Car View or in general? Does it make a difference when you set the app in offline mode via the in-app setting? You can learn how to do this here

Keep us posted! We'll be happy to lend a hand if you need more help.
