Parts of artist's discography become unavailable, issue with leftover available songs.

My Question or Issue

So, usually unavailable music becomes fully unavailable. In my case, some songs still show up as available, but when trying to play them, they play for a few seconds but then get grayed out like other unavailable songs.

Hey @juliusi thanks for reaching out to the community,

They greyed out music is unavailable to be played due to a variety of issues. 

If you want the unavailable songs to be hidden follow these steps:

Go to Settings, and under Display Options, enable Show unavailable songs in playlists (this is both on mobile and desktop). Once that toggle button is green, all songs that have been removed by Spotify will be visible in your playlists. The song titles will appear in gray, but you won't be able to play them.
