Pinning the music playback widget

Hi,

I often pause what I'm listening to using the controls on the lock screen, however these controls often disappear as soon as I pause the music, meaning I have to unlock my phone to start the music again from the app. Is there any way to keep these controls permanently? I've tried to install a lock screen widget but there doesn't appear to be one for Spotify.

I'd really like to know if this is in any way possible or not (similar solutions are also welcome)

Yeah, that's Android closing the Spotify process as it's not seing it 'hooked' into anything so closes it to save processes/battery.

Spotify does have a widget that should be able to be added to the lockscreen... if not try installing an app called 'Media Utilities' which provides widgets to do the same.
