Playback stops at the same time, 8:27.

At 8:27, playback stops. Car Thing says "Paused", phone says "Paused", and my auto display says "Paused". Jumping to the next episode, it will play, but stops again exactly at 8:27.

Tested further at home on fast wifi.

Same result.  Playback halts at 8:27, won't resume.  The +15 button has no effect.

I no longer have a working Spotify account.

This is an odd experience indeed. Does it happen with a particular podcast series or with every podcast? If it's a certain podcast, post a link so we can have a look at it.

Have you tried a different account? This'll help us exclude account related issues.

Which is the main device you're starting the playback on? Does this happen if you use only one device without Connect to the other ones?
