Playing downloaded music while in online mode when there is no wifi available

Hi,

I've been a premium android user for several years and only recently have I've been having issues playing my downloaded music. I used to just be able to play my downloaded music anytime. Now from the researching the posts it sounds like I going to have to keep switching back and forth from online to offline in order to keep playing my downloaded music. Why can't you just play the downloaded music in online mode even though there's no wifi available? This is the way it seemed to work in the past.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

In this case, we think that the cache of your devices might be duplicated and this could be causing the issue. To fix this up, please remove all your offline devices over here. Then, reinstall the app following these simple steps. 

This should fix the situation, but you need to remove the offline device before you reinstall the app. Keep in mind that you'll have to re-sync all your offline music once again.

Can you answer me this? If I have synced my music so that I can listen to
it offline can I leave it in online mode permanently? The reason is
because I'm hoping that if I leave it in online mode I can still listen to
my synced music without streaming them (when there is wi-fi) as well as
when there isn't. The reason why I ask is because it's a pain to have to
always have to turn it back to offline mode when I'm listening to my synced
music only and then have to switch it online so that my synced music
doesn't expire.

I would love it if Spotify would always play my synced music from my device
and never stream it whether or not it's in online or offline mode. That
way I won't have to keep switching it. Of course I understand that I would
still only be able to stream the non-synced music in online mode.

I hope this makes sense...

So what you're saying is that once my music is downloaded to my device I can just leave it in Online mode and it will play my donwloaded music wether I have a wi-fi connection or not?  If so this is a good thing so I won't have to keep switching back and forth when my 30 days are up.
