Playing music on spotify stops Google Maps' voice output

Solved!

Playing music on spotify stops Google Maps' voice output

Hello Community, Hello Spotify!

This is my Problem: During a navigation with Google Maps, the TTS-Output always crashes when launching a song on spotify. It even does not lower the TTS volume, it simply mutes it. The volume of the music lowers down as it should when a navigation instruction comes in, but I can hear no speach output. Other music-players like Google Play, podcast apps or tune in radio work fine in cooperation with Google Maps. On the other hand, spotify still works fine with the voice-output of Google Now from Google Voice Search.

Even if I stop the song, there is no voice in Google Maps anymore; It just helps when I force spotify to close.

All apps are up-to-date (Spotify 7.0.0.1369), all Google Apps updated, on Oneplus One Android 6.01 CyanogenOs 13.1

It feels like something like an audio driver-conflict like on a PC... weird. but I have no clue. Any ideas or suggustions? Thank You!

I think I found a solution, for the record: there's an equalizer-app called "audio fx" by maxxaudio installed on cyanogenOS. turning it off solves the problem for me.

but still don't know why? any ideas, android pros?
