Playlist Settings Don't Sync

 When I make a playlist private on my phone, it stays public on my laptop and vice versa. However it doesn't show up in my "public playlists". I just want to know if people can see what playlist I'm listening to and if they can access it even though it's tagged as private on one device.

There might be some problem with syncing the status in the mobile app. But as long as the playlist is not diplayed under Public Playlists tab under your profile it is private. If you listen to a Private playlists your followers can see what song you are playing but it will just diplay the album and not the name of your playlist.

You can also hide what you are listening to by two other ways:

• temporary - enable "Private Session" from settings
• permanently - disable "Publish my activity on Spotify" in settings
