My Question or Issue

The "Hide this song" placement seems pretty terrible. It's right in between "Like" and "Add to Playlist" options, both positive reactions to a song you want to keep/make readily available. It's way, way too easy to hit this by accident when trying to save the song, the exact opposite of what you're trying to do. I'll admit, this has happened to me countless times, requiring extra steps to go back and find the song to unhide it again. It's a pain, and a blight on an otherwise very fluid and intuitive UX.

I would argue "Hide this song" should be much further down in the menu, and an explicit action the user needs to take if they don't want this song showing up for them anymore. Maybe even at the very bottom of the list. The top 4-6 items in the menu (what shows up by default) should be the most important/frequently used items.

Along those lines, why is "Go to Song Radio" (another positive action) below "Sleep Timer"?

I would submit the following order for the song menu:

Like

Add to Playlist

Add to Queue

Share

Go to Song Radio (or below "View Artist")

View Album

View Artist

Sleep Timer

Report Explicit Content

Show Credits

Hide this song
