Premium user, still having problems with the shuffling

My Question or Issue

 

I'm a premium user who recently got a new phone (Google Pixel 3a). I'm not sure if this is an issue of shuffling or of the app reading my files on my playlist, but if I have two episodes of one podcast on the playlist, it will skip the second episode and go straight to the next podcast. I can't find the shuffle option on my app, so I don't even know how to turn it off. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello @EmilyJ91 , welcome to the Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out!

 

First of all, can you make sure you can't see the icon I added below?

If it's on shuffle mode, the arrows will turn green.

 

If you can't see this button, I would suggest you to reinstall your Spotify app.

hey @skroon19, thanks for the suggestion! I did the full uninstall/reinstall that was suggested in the article, and it's giving me the shuffle option but is still not playing episode to episode, just show to show. It is giving me the option to shuffle playlist now, but only at the full playlist, not the individual tracks like it would before.
