So I have an LG G3 and my local files used to sync perfectly and quickly, but now they won't. All of my local files have unsynced for some reason. I've tried every solution under the sun. I've done the fire wall thing, USB, I can't think fo the rest but it's very frustrating. please help.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini with Android .
I am Spotify Premium users .
I am using PC and mobile phone on the same wireless .
Why does not synchronize the local PC files C (Songs that do not exist on Spotify) to the phone?
Thanks for the help !
Firewall is off
UPnP is enable
Spotify is not blocked
Doesnt work :O( sorry.
I am running Android Lollipop 5.1.1 on a Galaxy S6. Spotify is up to date. I have plenty of room on my phone. The local files are MP3 files created in a playlist on the desktop app. I connect to the same WiFi )on my phone) as my laptop which is running Spotify.
I get to see the playlist on my phone but only some of the local files are downloaded. Some are not. I've tried reinstalling spotify on both my phone and laptop, I have toggled the playlist from offline mode to not offline and back and I still get the same behaviour every time. I have a Premium account and would expect something as simple as allowing Spotify to load local MP3s into my phone to be simple but it is not 😕
Any ideas???
Hey everyone,
Welcome to the Community.
Sorry to hear you're having issues with your local files in the mobile.
Check if your firewalls have Spotify set as an exception and then try the following for us:
1. Reinstall the app.
2. Sync the local files following these steps.
If that doesn't work, it would be good to understand what exactly is going wrong and the following information:
1. Device & operating system
2. Spotify app version
3. How much free space available?
4. Do you have an SD card? If so, how much Free space is available?
5. What format do the local files have?
6. Is your account Free or Premium?
7. Are you getting any error message?
We'll take a closer look.
