Hi Per 😉

So, what does this actually mean? Could we have some more clarification?

Thanks 🙂

There isn't anything to add. There were situations where audio would randomly stop playing. This is now fixed.

Sorry I posted...

And again, no landscape more or save to SDcard or any indication on how long these easy fixes are going to take.

It's almost a year now.. I mean landscape mode... C'mon spotify..

While you are waiting, you can use a app called Rotate settings. There you can change the roration on apps like Spotify.

And with an app called Directory blind you can change to SDcard as you liked. Boring to use 3 parties app, but it can do while we are waiting for Spotify to impliply this in their own app. Hope this could help you a little.

sadly, alot of people are going to get overly excited about this, only to have some language like latin added next.

i have to admit, this is sort of a problem people are refrencing on the forums. it's better than just a language update, at least they claim something got fixed.

oh, and to the first reply on this thread.

you should know better than to ask. remember the first rule.

You never know 😛

well i guess we got what we've been asking for. so just in case anyone didn't notice the worthless one-liner change descriptions in the play store, you can now see them here verbatim. fantastic, then.

may i suggest for the future something a little more vague, and with that patented spotify awkward sense of humor to distract from the incompetence:

"a few of you complainy-pants out there may find that the app works a little better for you now. happy listening, fools!"

When you say this issue is now fixed.... can you explain why my music still continues to stop playing randomly, sometimes twice per song, on my phone using the app?

I have uninstalled the app completely and reinstalled yesterday, re-synced a bunch of playlists overnight, only to find it cutting out again throughout today.

I've had a quick glance through the forums and it seems I'm not the only one to still be suffering the problem despite this 'fix'

Thoughts?....

Radio no longer work, instant sign out when clicking on any radio station 😞

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Can you try all of the troubleshooting steps outlined in that post to see if you can get it working again?

I am trying them now. It happened on two seperate devices, one phone, one tablet.

Interesting, and normaly streaming works fine still?

Normal streaming works fine. Once I hit the radio button it logs me off. It will delay a few seconds after hitting radio if I don't press anything else, but it happens instantly once I hit a radio station.

Working now after going through full Troubleshoot on my tablet. I tried it multiple times and it works now, maybe it was a network issue? I tried it on multiple networks on my end prior so I don't think it was my network. Haven't tried my phone yet, will later.

It could've just been one of those things 🙂

How absurd! As a Premium user I really don't understand how bad Spotify support is for Android users.

There was a workaround for using SD-storage that really works good (installing old version, configure SD-card, update Spotify), but even that is no longer possible with te latest update 5.9.29 😞

I think Spotify is losing me, because I want my music on my phone but I have no space in the internal memory left... 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞

PLEASE Spotify, when is SD-card again supported!!!!!!!!!!

Why can't you make it have the same look and feel as the iPad app? The Android verion sucks. I am about to switch to Slacker.

You might be happy to know that we just updated the Android client to 0.5.11.4.

This should fix offline playlists becoming unavailable!
