Removing songs from playlists that still play

I have my own playlist that I listen to offline. I have noticed though that even if I delete a song and it's download from my playlist, it still plays when in shuffle mode. There is no option to delete it further. Does anyone else have this problem? Listening on Pixel XL.

Can you give us some more infor about this issue? Let us know:

• Does this happen when you reproduce any of your playlists on Offline Mode?
• Can you let us know if this started happening after a specific update or event? 
• Can you let us know what operating system and Spotify version you're currently using?

I just went into Offline mode and saw the songs (that I previously 'removed' from download and playlist) were still downloaded and on the playlist. I deleted them while in Offline mode and it seems to have done the trick.
This seems to have started once I created this specific playlist instead of just downloading all of my saved songs.
Spotify version 7.4.0.1799armV7
I'm running Google Pixel XL
