Repeat Button resets when i close app

Hello,

so i have a Problem with the Spotify App. When i want a playlist to play on repeat, i activate the button; the repeat button is green. When i close the App and start it again it always resets and is grey again. This is quite annoying, because when i have like a short playlist and im driving or something i always have to remember to activate the repeat button everytime i start the app.

any solutions?

Mine is still doing it and i am using ios 16 and the 8.7.82.107 version of spotify

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for reaching out. While the shuffle button will stay on or off as you switch songs and playlists, depending on what you've selected, the repeat will always reset to it's default state when you switch. For now, this is expected behaviour. A similar idea has also been submitted here, so consider checking it out and giving it a thumbs up to show your support.
