Hello!
I am wondering how I can reshuffle my playlists on Android?
When I open the app it'll continue playing the track I was listening to last, and after that it will go to the first, second, third tracks etc. of the last shuffle. It's always the same order, every single time.
I tried going to another playlist, tapping play and switching back, tapping random tracks in the playlists, relogging, disabling and re-enabling shuffle a bunch of times, cleared all app data and I completely reinstalled the app as well.
The re-install worked with the shuffle issue... sort of? It did reshuffle, but the issue persists (I open the app, currently playing track finishes, then it goes back to the beginning of the 'order') and I don't want to re-install the app and re-download all the tracks just to reshuffle.
I think I'm missing a super obvious button somewhere, but I can't find it. 😞

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.
Kudos for that initial troubleshooting! We suggest you log out and log in twice onto your Spotify account; this way the system will force a sync of your account in general. Let us now if you notice any difference after that
If that doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us a video recording of this behavior? You can attach it in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.
Lastly, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details.

I just logged out- and in twice, but that didn't work unfortunately.
I haven't updated my OS itself. I remember updating Spotify at one point but it's been a while and I can't recall if the change came after that. The app itself is fully up-to-date.
I have attached a video of what I mean. I close the app on the current song, and it'll open back up on the current song, but after that it will always 'reset' to the order of the shuffle when I swipe to the next one. We're unfortunately unable to open WeTransfer links, but your description of the issue is sufficient for now. Can you please let us know if this happens with a specific playlist or all of the ones you play in your account?

I have been messing around a bit and it looks like it only happens in offline mode. I have tried swapping back to online mode, selecting a different (or the same) playlist and it behaves fine, and if I turn offline mode on again it works fine too.
But then I restart the app and it'll start over on the same shuffle order after the 'currently playing' track is finished.
I only have one playlist downloaded, but I can try downloading another to see if that one is affected as well? I'll get back to you after I finished downloading and testing.
Okay, so I have two playlists downloaded now. If I swap between them, they will reshuffle. It will still start at the exact same songs and play the exact same order of songs with every app restart however. (I would rather it continue rather than restart the playlist) Funny enough, even though the original playlist is re-randomized, it always starts with the same track without exceptions when I re-open the app even through the song wasn't first in line in the current shuffle.
With the 'new' playlist, I sometimes cannot go to the next song. Swiping or tapping the next button doesn't do anything. This doesn't happen too often, though.
