S8 Doesn't show playback controls in notification panel

Hi,

I got the S8 recently and once I received it I did what most people should do, is mess around in the settings and find cool things out about what your phone can actually do.

In doing so, I probably messed up Spotify.

As now the " '<<'  '>'  '>>' " is no longer there when I'm listening to Spotify. In the drop down notifications menu.

It's there on the lock screen but not when I'm actually using my phone.

Can anybody help?

- Tried reinstalling too. And updated to latest softwares. 

- Read other forum posts about older phone models and couldn't find the settings they were refering to

Hey, can you expand the notification to show the controls? Check the settings in apps > spotify > notifications and make sure the lock screen is set to show content.

I dunno what I did but my Spotify disconnected to my speaker and then hey presto after about 3 weeks it just appears - thank you anyway! 

I prodded a few more settings and I guess I fixed it.
