Same songs saved multiple times

I find often, for reasons unknown to me, that songs that I have previously saved will appear during playback as unsaved, especially if i look them up and go to the artist page instead of playing them from my saved songs library.

For example, the song "Thug Tears" by Jpegmafia is actually saved on my device two times, plays the same track, but appears under different versions of the album "Veteran." Similarly, the track 1539 N. Calvert appears marked as unsaved when I look at his artist page, but I have it downloaded and marked as saved on my personal "artists" and "songs" folders.

How can I avoid this redundancy? And is this also downloading the song twice on my devices??
