Samsung Galaxy phones with installed spotify cannot receive messages from other Samsung phones

I have spent a great deal of time on an issue where other samsung phones are unable to text me with advanced messaging on. Since advanced messaging is a must. I looked for other answers. I found one post online that suggested removing spotify from my phone. This indeed works. The time I reinstall Spotify, I no longer can get messages from dozens of samsung phone users. 

Spotify please fix this. I've had robust testing and have probably spent 40 hours of my time finding a solution.
