Search and browse functions don't work on Samsung Galaxy S8

My Question or Issue

 The search and browse functions do not work when using my Samsung Galaxy S8 even though I have offline mode turned off and am connected to wifi in my home. I do not think there's anything wrong with our wifi connection as it seems to be working fine for other apps on my phone and our other devices. I have tried restarting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify and neither helped. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.
