Selecting song and it won't play

My Question or Issue

I Am having an issue mainly when I am playing music through a device.

There will be a song playing and I want to pick another. I go into the library and find the song, click on it and nothing happens. It changes to the grey colour very briefly as it does when selecting a track. But it does not play.

It is extremely frustrating as the only work around is to queue the song and the skip it. 

Please please help. 

Ps I have done a clean install. Same issue. Only seems to happen when playing through a speake .
