Shuffle play won't work properly with Chromecast audio

Hello,

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7. When I start playing titles (from my library) in shuffle on my phone, everything is fine: it's a random selction of my library.

But when I switch to listen on the Chromecast, Spotify changes the selection, and only titles that are alike are played. Fo example, it'll play Herbie Hancock, more Herbie Hancock, and then only more jazz... I actually can see the titles list changing when switching to the Chromecast.

Any ideas what couls be the issue?

The short answer is that Spotify doesn't work on shuffle when you cast to devices, period. It's a known issue for Spotify, and Spotify has no intention of fixing it.

Why would Spotify has (had?) no intentions of fixing it? It seems pretty simple to fix. And I think it worked before...
