Songs are displayed twice in library / No green tick displayed

Hey there, I have problems with my "songs". They are often saved twice or there is no green tick behind it when i play it somewhere, so I click it again and then they are also displayed twice in the library. And I'm not talking about same songs in different albums.

Doesn't matter if I use Android or Windows 10 for PC.

Any idea?

I have had this problem too! The song is in my library since it is in one of my playlists already but doesn't show as green ticked or added to the library. When I hit the plus to add it to my library it gets added to my Liked playlist and the green tick displays as it should. If I tap this new green tick I can see which of my playlists actually contain the song. Two playlists are now ticked! It was in my library all along but did not show as it should! I can now remove the duplicate by clicking the green tick beside the Liked playlist and when I return it remains green ticked in the player as it should since it is still in my library. Why does it work perfectly after this process and not initially? This appears broken and should be reported as a bug. Will see what I can do.
