Sound breaking up every couple of minutes on Samsung Galaxy S5

Hello,

Wiile listening Spotify music on my Samsung Galaxy S5 I am experiencing short breaking-ups every couple of minutes. It takes a fraction of second but is extremely irritating, especially while listening music with some rythm (like rock etc).

It happens when I am using either strong WiFi connection as well as LTE/4G, wired/bluetooth earphones or car audio. No matter what I do I am getting the same effect.

What I tried so far:

- cleared cache (restarting the phone with volume up+power button+home button pressed

- uninstalled/reinstalled Spotify

- reset the mobile to factory settings with Spotify installed only!!

Nothing helped.

I tested my account in the same WiFi network but with different devices (iPhone 5S, iPad, Xiaoming Redmi 3) -- no issues whatsoever. This is happening on my Samsung Galaxy S5 only.

I have newest Android 6.0.1 (with all newest patches).

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Just to check - have you tried using a friend's account in your device? Let us know how that goes.

I tried using another acccount -- same issue. In fact it turned out that this is not just about Spotify but all audio streaming as such on this device.

I gave up and switched to another phone (Xiaomi Redmi Notes 4). Huge, huge difference -- no issues whatsoever. Apparently Samsung Galax S5 does not go well with audio streaming.
