Is there any obvious reason why the Android App will not happily co-exist with other music streaming services?
Anymore to go on? I have Spotify, Google Music All Access & Deezer all running OK on my phone.

Nothing more really. I currently have Spotify Premium on my Android phone and mainly use it on my daily commute. Getting increasingly hacked off with the lack of support for Bluetooth so thought I would check out some of the others to see if they work any better. Just wanted to be prepared for any problems that that might cause.
Sounds like there is nothing to worry about.
What's the issue you are facing? Maybe we can try to resolve that rather than having to resort to more finite measures.
It's an issue that has been much discussed on these forums over the past two years. Basically when connecting via bluetooth in the car Spotify will get to a point where it will finish playing a track and drop the bluetooth connection. It appears to be playing the next track but there is no audio. This happens with both offline playlists and streaming audio.
Turning bluetooth off and then back on will restart it but often only for the next track or two. Restarting the phone (or force stopping Spotify) will last quite a bit longer but if this is done in an area with no data connection offline playlists cannot be resumed because Spotify needs to sync with the server.
The general response in the previous threads seems to be that Bluetooth is not officially supported on Android. There have been many updates to the Spotify app in this time but it has never been fixed so I guess there is no intention to do so.
If there is a workaround, other than having to pull over and reset the phone, I would be delighted to hear it. It pains me to contemplate giving Google money.
Ah, I see. I too experience the BT dropouts, but it seems to only occur for me sometimes and only on initial connection. I turn BT off on the car, restart it and reconnect then it works fine then on.
To me this is a minor annoyance which is outweighed by the fact Spotify has more music than the other services as well as fetures such as connect and the cross-platform applications such as for the Roku etc. I actually pay for Spotify, Google Music & Deezer but tend to only really use Spotify.
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues, it does seem to be something experienced by a few people. Just checking the bugs section and it appears that it doesn't have a dedicated thread which is why it may not be actively looked at.... time to fix that and get one created.
Could you do me a favour and give the details of your setup in the thread below? This will highlight the issue to the team and get them acting on it. If we can give as much info as possible that will really help.
Thanks
[ANDROID] No sound through Bluetooth
Odd, just received an email to say that there has been a reply to this thread but there doesn't seem to be anything new here. Anyone else had anything?
Nope, but then I'm not subscribed to it.
Might just be a glitch with the lithium forum software, that or a mod has deleted the message after it was posted.
