Spotify Begins Playing on Samsung Galaxy S4 Without Being Launched

About a week ago, when I turn on my phone, Spotify will begin playing a random song without me launching the Spofity app.  I go in & pause/shut off the song, but it will begin playing again in less than a minute. I have to restart the phone to get Spotify back into off mode; otherwise, I have to logout of the Spotify app completely.  What is going on?

That is weird, do you have any other apps which might be opening Spotify?

No, I do not.  I went through the forum shortly after I entered my post & found another pesron reported the same issue back in late Dec. From what I  can see, no solutuion or root cause was found.

It's been an intermittent problem. I think it happpened for 1st time last week (2 times), then again this morning when I turend my phone on. It already had a song cued up with the Spotify log at top of screen, but no audio until I hit the pause/play button.  I think the other person who reported the problem back in late December is using a Samsung S4 too. I been using this device for nearly a year now & never had this issue until last week. Strange.
