Spotify Error "Kein Speicherbereich gefunden"

Solved!

Spotify Error "Kein Speicherbereich gefunden"

Hey at all

I'm writing because I don't know what to do anymore... since i updatet my Phone and want to open Spotify I get back to my homescreen and got a notification which says "No storage area found. Please check the save settings of your device"

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. First I tried again. On my iPad and PC it's working
  2. Then I reinstalled the app as suggested by Spotify
  3. I also asked a friend - he has the similar problem

Your device and operating system: Samsung Galaxy S5, Android 6.0.1, Kernel Version: 3.4.0

Type of Spotify account you have (Free/ Premium): Premium

The app version of Spotify you’re using: 6.0.0.864

Thank you in advance! I hope you can help me to fix this problem!

Could you try reinstalling using these steps.

Uninstall the app from your device by going to 'Settings' -> 'Apps' then scroll to the Spotify app and tap on it. Once loaded press 'Uninstall'.
Using a file manager make sure any of the below folders are deleted if they still exist:

  • /emulated/0/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /ext_sd/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /sdcard1/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /data/media/0/Android/data/com.spotify.music

Reboot your device
Using a web browser navigate to the 'Offline Devices' section of the Spotify account page and then click on the 'Remove all devices' button.
Once all the above steps are complete go to the play store and install the Spotify Music app again

Hello,

since several days i've got the same problem. I have to restart my phone every time i want to use spotify since i didn't have used it for some minutes.

I tried to reinstall spotify 3 times now, just like Joe sugested.

But even that didn't work.

Are there any other solutions to solve that problem?

My setup:
