Spotify Not filling 18:9 displays

My Problem-

Hi,

I am a spotify premium user and it is unbelivable how the dev team at spotify hasn't fixed this problem. On 18:9 displays (Moto g6) spotify leaves a black bar if you hide the nav bar. This means that you lose screen space. Even if you enable the nav bar, it is ugly and very unlike spotify. This IS a major issue and I would like to see spotify spend more time on it's andriod app. If this issue was on IOS it would have been fixed almost instantly. I am frustrated since this is a reletivly simple issue and for 10 bucks a month makes the app look un-finished and raw. Apple music fits perfectly on the screen. I hope that spotify will reply to me with a solution.

Other users have reported seeing a black bar on some devices with bigger displays. No worries, we've passed this on to our tech folks and they're looking into this. In the meanwhile, we'd recommend heading here and adding your +VOTE so you can stay updated.
