Spotify app gone slow

Spotify app gone slow

So I pay for premium monthly and over the past month or so its gotten really slow, regardless of the internet connection. I thought it may be the storage on my phone, so I factory reset and redownloaded the Spotify app. Its worse. Literally takes ages to play a song, won't pause immediately, takes a long time to load an artist page or the mg music page.

Hi the latest version appears to be quite buggy. Try grabbing a previous apk (from the link in my signature) and disable Google Automatic updates until a new version is released.

I've had this same problem for a long time now. Ignoring it everytime because when the service actually works it's awesome. But as of lately it's 50/50. If we're not getting full service were paying for, why are we still paying full price? I've cancelled once before and I really can't find anything as great as spotify.

Works great on the ipad, works great on my mac, but has been horrible on my note 2 and S4. Have not heard from my iPhone friends about the same problem. is this an android thing?

Installing an old apk is a bandaid - ignoring the problem At hand.

At the end of the day were paying for a service that is not being provided.

What gives spotify? I've hard cleared cache, factory restored, reinstalled.. I don't know how it works on their end but maybe a server expansion to be able to support the growing spotif users.
