Spotify closing when i launch a Game

When i'm playing my playlist and launch a mobile game at loading screen spotify close by himself. Can i have some help please. Thanks

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

First up, would you mind making sure if the Spotify app is not restricted to play in the background on your phone?

If it isn't, It's also a good idea to exclude the app from any Battery optimization software that might be active on it.

Sorry for responding lately.I already disable all kind of battery optimisations and  background restriction but it keep closing Spotify when i play a wifi game.

In this case, would you mind checking the suggestions at https://dontkillmyapp.com/xiaomi? You can find some not very obvious settings there that could be causing this behavior on your phone.

Would you mind checking if you have Turbo Boost enabled? It's an app that enables processor cores to run faster by killing all background processes.

In case you have it - please disable it on your device.

I retested launching my game with spotify open and spotify didn't close this time.Maybe the update fix it but idk what make spotify don't close.

I had the same problem: Spotify would turn off when I launched games on Android. After trying several fixes, I came across a solution that worked for me. Have you checked your device's battery optimization settings? Sometimes aggressive battery optimization can cause apps like Spotify to close unexpectedly. It may also be worth checking to see if there are any conflicting background processes. Hope this helps!
