Spotify constantly "ducking" when there are no notifications

My Question or Issue

Everytime I listen to my spoitify app on my phone it will randomly "duck" the music like I am getting a notification or a navigation announcement, except that I'm not. Navigation isnt on, no notifications coming in, just randomly lowers the music so low I can barely hear it and doesn't come back up for a random amount of time. And since it is the app doing it, not my phone, I have no way of turning the music back up to normal. I am getting so frustrated and might just cancel my account since I cant even use it!

Hey @Noxved, welcome to the Community!

Did this start happening after an app or firmware update? Try checking your devices settings to see if you have any setting enabled that lowers media when taking a call. If so, try disabling it to see if it helps.

If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall to see if it makes a difference.

Start by turning off the equalizer in Spotify, then see if your phone has an app called AudioFx, if there is, disable it, andriod + Spotify hates it.
