Spotify deleting my offline songs

I can download my songs for offline use. I can listen to the songs when I am offline.

But over the last week Spotify wiped out my 2000+ songs 3 times and blacked them out, so I couldn't listen to them.

This is a complete waste of data AND energy usage. As long as this bug exist (a simple search will show you this has been a problem since 2016), Spotify is choosing to contribute to global warming.

When will you guys fix this bug?

It sucks having to work 8 plus hours with no internet connection when this bug chooses to manifest.

You guys are obviously already aware of this bug given it's 2 year history. 

Why won't you fix it?

It's possible this bug isn't actually a bug and Spotify is in some kind of deal with a telecommunication company to increase the amount of data we use with the intended effect of increasing telecommunication business via 2 mechanisms.

1) Spotify customer's data is throttled for reaching data cap and is therefore compelled to increase their data cap.

2) Spotify customer's data goes over the data cap and is therefore required to pay for all extra data used by Spotify.
