Spotify is constantly undownloading my offline tracks

Spotify is constantly undownloading my offline tracks

As it says in the subject the spotify app keeps erasing all the "offlined" (downloaded) tracks, after the whole playlist (ca. 400 tracks) is downloaded. This problem is happening on version 6.5.0.1816
I'm running it on the Nexus 5 android 6.0.1 without unlocked bootloader, root access or custom rom.

Hey @Mike2341!

Thanks for reaching out to the Spotify Community. We'd like to help.

In this case, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page on our website and click Offline devices in the menu on the left.
  2. Click REMOVE ALL DEVICES.
  3. Reinstall the app. Here's how
  4. Re-sync your offline tracks.

Let us know if this helps or, if you have any questions. We'll be here for you 🙂

Sophia,

My offline playlist and songs keep undownloading everytime I switch to a new country or even to a new city in the same country (I am travelling abroad). So as a result I have to find fast Internet (in a third world country so it very hard) and then redownload the songs and playlists. Just to find out everything I downloaded has now erased the download. It's extremely frustrating and I am still paying for the service but hardly ever able to use it. Can I cancel it? Postpone? Any other ideas? I have already uninstalled and rinstalled the app once.
