Spotify is downloading music using celluar data even though option is turned off.

I was browsing Christmas music on Spotify while using cellular data. I found a playlist and clicked the save option. Spotify immediately started downloading the music to my phone. This option is turned off on my phone. I have a Google pixel phone.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community with this one. Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread.

We suggest you run a clean reinstall since this step can usually solve issues rendering Spotify to malfunction in the way you're describing. You can find the necessary steps here. 

If that doesn't fix things, could you let us know the make, model, OS version and Spotify version you're running?

It would be great if you could also attach a recording of the issue to your post.
