Spotify keeps downloading to phone, even if option "available offline" is OFF

Spotify keeps downloading to phone, even if option "available offline" is OFF

I´m having quite a problem here, guys.

My Android device is right now at around half-capacity, with Spotify files alone taking over 14 gb of space.

All the albums that I have saved here, which once were available offline, are now not, but it still counts as if they were downloaded.

For example, I just added some albums to my music, but DIDN´T TURN ON THE AVAILABLE OFFLINE option, still my cellphone is telling me that it´s downloading over 300 songs.

How can I stop this? Pretty soon I won´t have memory space available for anything else.

Thank you

Have you used the option delete cache on the setting menu within the Spotify app? It will delete all downloaded songs.

Yes, I did that, and it worked. Appreciate the help.

However, it's kind of besides the point I made.

I mean, when I switch off the "available offline" option, it´s like nothing happens, then? My only option is to to delete everything when it starts to occupy too much space?

Same issue. ...waiting for an answer.
