Spotify not playing on my phone

My Question or Issue

Spotify isn't working on my phone currently, but will work on the web browser and all other media outlets(speakers connected to Spotify). 

The other day, while doing random maintenance on the phone, I decided to clear out things that may be pulling from my phone that may not need to. I think in doing this, I may have somehow removed permissions for spotify to play on my phone?

At this point, I have:

• logged out of Spotify and signed back in
• re-installed Spotify
• restarted my phone
• attempted to restore permissions(although, I don't know where speaker permissions are)

One thing to note is that when I go to play a song on my phone, the music/podcast doesn't seem to advance. It'll stick at 0:00. I can change songs and it'll bring up the new song, but stay at 0:00. If I change the output to another speaker(let's say Google Home), it'll play adequately on that source. I'm close to wits end and would prefer to not have to completely wipe the phone just to get Spotify to work correctly.

Also of note, my user profile is showing up as a seemingly random set of numbers instead of as my profile.

Issue was resolved with a full and complete re-install outlined on the forum as opposed to just "Uninstall/Reinstall"
