Spotify not working whilst connected via Bluetooth my Samsung note 10 plus

I have tried the usual disconnect and reconnect and this has still not rectified the issue, whilst you tube etc works okay Spotify does not.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

In order for us to investigate further, can you please let us know the following:

  • The OS version and Spotify version of your Samsung phone and the model of the Bluetooth device.
  • A more detailed description of what exactly happens when you try to play music. (a screen recording would be best)

The OS version is 4.1 (I think as it is named as One UI version as OS version does not come up.

Spotify version is 8.8.4.518

Samsung ear buds model number is SM-R177.

Could you try to pair the earbuds with a different mobile device and give it a try with the Spotify app?

 

Also try resetting the earbuds to their factory settings. Here are the steps how to do that.
