Spotify on Samsung S8 not updating track on lock screen

Hey

I have two new issues on the Samsun S8

1) When Casting to Chromecast the artist details don't always update on the lock screen so I'm unable to forward a track etc.

2) Then if I go into the phone to change a track in the Spotify app, it disconnects me from Chromecast and will only reconnect when I close the Spotify app and restart it.

Does anyone else experience this?

Yes, glad it's not just me! Oneplus 3T user, Android 7.1.1, Chromecast Audio firmware version 1.23.85114. Phone and CCA both on same 2.4Ghz WIFI network. See the video I've attached, it's a nightmare.
