Spotify running ridiculously slow

Solved!

Spotify running ridiculously slow

About a month ago an update released and since then the app is ridiculously slow while connected to the internet. It works fine offline but as soon as I connect to the internet, either WiFi or 4g, the app doesn't work at all, just hangs in loading screens, it can take 20 minutes just to search for a song. This means it's pretty much impossible to stream or download anything.

Reinstalled the app and removed SD card, same problem. Seen plenty of other people with the same problem. It's nothing to do with my phone.

Hi @Camranbant

The Spotify team advice to remove your offline devices following these steps?

Then can you try another clean reinstall.

Please let me know if that helps.

Thank you

I did that, and now when trying to resync my playlists, it's going to my internal storage instead of the sd card like it was before.

It has fixed the lag though.

@Camranbant
So we can say it is solved?

If you have problems with the SD card, it can be that the card is not
compatible with your phone.
It happened to me with SanDisk and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, I had to buy a
Samsung card.
Camillo

Yeah, the lag is solved

Well, the lag has come back it seems. Now i have a laggy app I can't use online, and no music to play offline.
