Spotify shuffle button not working at all

Hey so I hopped on to spotify to listen to my playlist and clicked shuffle play because it usually just plays random songs, not play one song after another as they are in the playlist. I tried using the small shuffle button on the play bar too. I'm a premium user and i'm using an S7 Edge. 

To trouble shoot i tried hopping onto my computer and clicking the shuffle button thats in the pause, next song or last song bar etc. The same thing happens. 

It just plays the playlist without shuffling it at all. If i unclick shuffle button it plays song by song but when i click shuffle it goes back to the top and then begins to play song by song again! Seeing as it's not an isolated issue to my phone as i've tried it on my laptop too i don't know what to do! I've tried sorting by artist etc. 

I'd really prefer not to re-install because I'm currently flooded out at home so I only have data which as you know is expensive as gold these days. And with my playlist being 150 songs it'd be a couple hundred mb, any ideas?

Same thing for me, doesn't work at all. I got it working in my desktop by random but if i try to use my phone when it's linked to my computer it stops working and goes back to playing song in order
