My Question or Issue

I have Sony WF-1000XM4 headphones and when I am looking at a streming service (app); eg. Cmore, and am removing one ear bud Spotify starts playing, over the sound from the streaming. And when I pause Spotify and put my ear bud in again, Spotify starts again!

I have tried to reinstall Spotify and recently I did a full factory reset of my phone, but the problem remains.

Any ideas on how to solve this? It's super annoying 😵💫

Hey @Fluffibrood,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

When connecting a Bluetooth device to your phone, the autolaunch & autostart  functions are dependent on the way a device is configured to interact with the app API. If your Earbuds have touch senses, it most likely will be activated when you remove one or put it back in.

However, there are some options that you can try to get this resolved. First, as you already reinstalled the app and reset your phone, could you check if it happens pairing your Earbuds to a different device?

Also, it would be great if you could pair other Earbuds to your device to see if it makes any difference.

Lastly, If the issue persists, some of our users have mentioned different settings on their phones that may resolve the issue. You can check them by following the links of the floating response of this thread

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.
