Spotify starts playing on its own

Spotify starts playing on its own

Spotify starts playing music on my phone on its own whenever I open certain apps, such as setting the alarm, opening Samsung notes etc.

I cant seem to turn this very strange and annoying "feature" off.

What do I do to fix this?

Hey @Pudelboll,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Sorry to hear that this is happening to you. In most cases this is related to Bixby routines which are enabled by default on some Samsung phones. You can try going into the Bixby app and disable the Good Morning routine or any other routine that involves Spotify.

You can check your Google clock as well,  and see if Spotify is added to any routines there as well.

Keep us posted on how you get on.

My Question or Issue

Every. Single. Night at around 9.14 - 9.23pm my phone plays a sleep tune out loud (Ons - Huma) which is a stock song that I don't ❤️ like.  I can stop it playing by cancelling the notification on the phone that its playing but I can't seem to cancel the notification or the fact that it plays the same song.  For instance, tonight I had my phone by my side while listening to a podcast on the laptop on Spotify and at 9.14pm my phone starts playing Huma, interrupting the podcast on the laptop and overplaying it.  Its playing from a playlist called Sleep which I didn't create and I can't delete.  Any ideas?
