Spotify still not saving to ad card

I have uninstall, cleared cahe date etc. looked for the coded data file, not existent on my phone, reinstalled and its still not saving to my sd card, I've formatted the sd card, I've got 14gb spare. What else can I do?

If you have Andoid 6 Marshmallow, then save to SD is a major issue. 

For Android 4 or 5, then do the uninstall, delete cache etc as you have already tried, but do this before reinstalling Spotify: bloat the internal memory until you have 1Gb or less remaining. Easiest done using big files like films and photos, transfer via usb from computer. The objective of this is to convince Spotify that SD is the only viable memory.

Now reinstall Spotify, set download quality to Extreme in the Spotify settings and start downloading.

When you are sure that Spotify is now using SD, you can delete the bloat files.

Spotify will create data folders and cache folders in both internal and SD. But music data files should only go onto SD. These have folder names like A2, B1, etc.
