Spotify stops when i use others apps

Im in a Xiaomi redmi note 10

Spotify stops playing music randomly when i use others apps like intenet browser or even notepad, Twitter etc, sometimes it happen everytime i open other app others time nevers happen

I reinstalled the app

Clear cache

Restarted the phone

Put the app at not batery restriction

And still many days it just dont work and others days there is no problems

To get a better understanding of the situation, could you let us know if this is happening on another device with your Spotify account? It's even worth double-checking on your phone with a relative's or a friend's account to see whether it's an account-related or app-related issue.

On another note, do you have an SD-card in your phone that you're using? Keep in mind that if this is the case, then corrupted cache on the SD-card can cause issues with the app's performance. Then we recommend removing the card, giving Spotify a clean reinstall once again to see if that makes any difference.

Could you send us the exact Spotify-version you're running? It'd be very helpful if you could also send us a video showing how the issue looks like from your end. 

You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. If the attachment is too big - we'd suggest that you upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it) or upload it as unlisted YouTube video.

I dont have the time to record my phone screen until it happens since there are some days that never happens and there are days that happens instansly

Literally im listening to music i open any other app and it stops or not somedays it stops after fee seconds some days never happens

I'm experiencing the same problem. Some days it happens every 5 Minutes. You listen to music, open any other app (Browser, twitter, Alarm clock, literally anything really) and after some time Spotify stops and has to be restarted. 

Did the same as you with deinstall, cache deleted, logged off, battery optimization, all of the above. 

It's not helping.

Would be happy to hear of a solution, as it's verrry annoying, it's been happening for weeks now.

In this case, we'd recommend reaching out to your device manufacturer to make sure you've adjusted all settings that might be preventing the Spotify app from running in the background.

Sorry but that's bs. It's definitely the App, there are so many people reporting the same issue.

It needs to be fixed, the app right now is not usable.

Is there any way to contact customer support, besides this forum? I'd like a real support to talk to.
