Spotify uses every chance to close itself

I'm having this issue for the last 2 months or so. Beside the fact that Spotify is the only laggy app on my phone, I don't think that it's good as a player anymore.

I have a LG G3 16Gb with 2 gbs of ram. And I'm afraid of skip songs via headphone buttons or pause songs because whenever I do this, app closes itself. I've tried almost everything to prevent that issue but nothing worked for me. Cleared cache, cleared all data, performed a clean installation. But apparently this wasn't enough so I set it's notifications to high priority. I locked it on the recent apps screen to prevent closing. But nope. I don't know what can I do, so if anyone knows how to fix this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
